Umar Randeree is a BSc Computer Science graduate. He has spent his career working his way up from computer technician to science developer, taking on various roles that ranged from customer (and later senior) engineer, to senior system support, operation and training manager, and technical project manager. Umar has experience working for software companies, as well as in the marketing field as a web- and backend developer. He has spent a number of years tutoring and lecturing.Six years ago, Umar co-founded a start-up teaching people how to code using an offline platform. The aim of was to create a place for people to learn to code without the need for an internet connection.Umar is passionate about coding and the computer science field, especially teaching these skills to others

WALDON HENDRICKS | Co-Author / Moderator

Waldon Hendricks holds a Masters’ degree in Information Technology. He also holds Bachelor’s degree in Communication Network, and National Diploma in Information Technology, from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa. In addition, Mr. Hendricks obtains professional certifications such as Huawei Certified Network Associate, Cisco certified network associate. He specializes in Server configuration and administration, front-end development languages, web server administration, and Databases management. Mr. Hendricks has over ten years of experience in the field of information systems and technologies. As a lecturer, he focuses on training and development in the areas of Network administration, Server administration and Programming. He is currently a doctoral student in Information and Communication Technology, specialising in security and big data with mobile web applications.
